At NotchFlow, we believe your privacy is fundamental. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use NotchFlow, a native macOS application developed by Hau-Ben Benjamin Shih.
Key Point: NotchFlow is designed with privacy in mind. We collect minimal data, store everything locally on your Mac, and never access your personal information.
Used solely to provide you with a personalized experience and remember your settings between app sessions.
Used only to display current track information in the NotchFlow interface. This data is processed locally and never transmitted to our servers.
Used to validate your purchase and ensure you have access to NotchFlow features. Processed securely through Lemon Squeezy.
Used to understand how NotchFlow is used, identify popular features, and improve app performance. All analytics are anonymous and cannot be traced back to individual users.
We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with third parties.
We may disclose information if required by law, such as in response to a valid court order or legal process.
All your preferences and settings are stored locally on your Mac using macOS's secure storage mechanisms. This data is protected by your Mac's security features and user account permissions.
When NotchFlow communicates with external services (like license validation), all connections use industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS).
NotchFlow follows Apple's sandboxing guidelines, limiting the app's access to only necessary system resources and preventing unauthorized data access.
You can disable anonymous usage analytics in NotchFlow's preferences. This will not affect app functionality.
You can disconnect music services at any time through the app's settings. NotchFlow will continue to work without music integration.
If you're in the EU, you have additional rights including data portability and the right to be forgotten. Since we collect minimal data stored locally, most of these rights are automatically fulfilled.
Since NotchFlow stores all user data locally on your Mac, there are no international data transfers of your personal information. The only data that may cross borders is:
These transfers are minimal and do not include personal information.
NotchFlow is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete such information.
